Corporate Counsel
We're partnered with an established, mission-driven healthcare organization looking to hire a skilled Corporate Counsel to support commercial and corporate legal matters. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this attorney will focus on contract drafting and negotiations while also contributing to broader legal areas such as operations, HR, real estate, compliance, and general risk management. This is a hybrid role based in the Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate managed care contracts and vendor agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support on a variety of corporate matters, including regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with company policies and objectives.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes related to managed care and vendor contracts.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the healthcare industry.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Support the legal team in other corporate matters as needed.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership
- 4+ YOE drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (law firm or in-house)
- Experience managing high-volume vendor contracting
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
