An AM Law 200 firm is actively seeking a Senior Employment, Labor & Workforce Management Attorney with 7+ years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex labor and employment matters for a national client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored information, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, and attending court appearances.
  • Advise clients on federal and state labor and employment laws, including wage and hour, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, Title VII, FLSA, and trade secret law.
  • Provide counseling on workplace issues such as employee relations, risk mitigation, accommodations, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and internal policies.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of labor and employment law experience.
  • Strong knowledge of federal/state laws: wage & hour, trade secrets, Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA.
  • Skilled in litigation: witness interviews, document review, pleadings, motions, depositions, court appearances.
  • Experience advising on workplace issues: compliance, accommodations, agreements, RIFs, and internal policies.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
