A prominent law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a mix of single‑plaintiff employment litigation and complex class action/PAGA matters within a growing platform that offers strong litigation responsibility and a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent employers in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
* Handle both single‑plaintiff matters and class action/PAGA litigation.
* Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery; participate in hearings and administrative proceedings.
* Take and defend depositions and manage day‑to‑day litigation strategy.
* Advise clients on workplace policies, compliance, and risk management issues.
Key Qualifications
* J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
* Admission to the California Bar.
* 3-7 years of experience in employment litigation.
* Experience with single‑plaintiff matters and class/PAGA litigation.
* Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
* Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
