As a Commercial Litigation Attorney, you will manage a high-impact caseload involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex commercial vehicle litigation. This role requires deep knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and experience navigating intricate insurance frameworks, including MCS-90 filings and excess/umbrella coverage disputes.
You will take cases from intake through verdict, serving as a strategic leader and courtroom advocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Litigation Leadership: Drive case strategy from initial intake through trial verdict for high-value commercial vehicle claims.
- Develop innovative legal theories to hold corporate defendants fully accountable.
Discovery & Depositions
- Conduct and defend critical depositions, including:
- Corporate representatives
- Commercial truck drivers
- Industry and liability experts
Trial Advocacy
- Lead all phases of trial preparation and execution, including motions, witness preparation, and courtroom presentation.
- Deliver persuasive and compelling advocacy before judges and juries.
Strategic Collaboration
- Direct and coordinate expert teams, including accident reconstructionists, life-care planners, economists, and medical specialists.
- Build comprehensive and compelling evidence packages to support maximum damages.
Client Relationship Management
- Provide high-level legal counsel to clients navigating complex, emotionally challenging litigation.
- Maintain proactive, professional communication throughout the litigation lifecycle.
