Tax Lawyer - NQ
An elite US law firm is seeking a newly qualified associate to join its highly regarded Tax and Private Client team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a market-leading practice advising on complex, high-value matters for a global client base. To be considered for this role you must be qualified in the US.
The Role
You will work across a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious tax and private wealth matters, including:
- Advising high-net-worth individuals, families and family offices on wealth structuring, succession planning, and cross-border tax issues
- Supporting on trust formation, administration, and restructuring
- Acting on UK and international tax aspects of M&A, finance and corporate transactions
- Advising on residence, domicile, and mobility planning
- Exposure to contentious tax matters and disputes, where relevant
- Collaborating closely with corporate, funds, and disputes teams on integrated mandates
Candidate Profile
- US qualified, ideally NQ-1 PQE
- Training from a top US, Magic Circle, Silver Circle or leading international firm
- Strong seat experience in tax and/or private client (either combined or with demonstrable interest in both)
- Excellent academics and strong technical grounding
- Commercial mindset with the ability to work in a high-performance, client-facing environment
