We are currently instructed on a senior opportunity for a Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer (Senior Associate / Legal Director level) to join a highly regarded international law firm in London. This is a rare opportunity to step into a market-leading team known for advising on complex, high-value construction and infrastructure projects across multiple jurisdictions.

The practice stands out for its depth of expertise in non-contentious construction, often working on large-scale real estate developments, infrastructure projects, and energy-related mandates. The team is known for being technically strong while maintaining a pragmatic, commercial approach.
The Role
This role will focus on high-quality, transactional construction work, with a strong advisory element. You can expect to work on:
- Drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts (including JCT, NEC, and FIDIC)
- Advising on procurement strategies and project structuring
- Supporting on major real estate developments and infrastructure projects
- Providing construction input on real estate, finance, and corporate transactions
- Advising clients on risk allocation and project delivery matters
You will play a key role within the team, working closely with partners and taking on a high level of client interaction and responsibility.
Candidate Profile
- England & Wales qualified
- Senior Associate or Legal Director level (typically 6+ PQE)
- Strong experience in non-contentious construction from a recognised projects or construction practice
- Solid grounding in standard form contracts (JCT, NEC and/or FIDIC)
- Experience advising on large-scale development or infrastructure projects
- Commercial, solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships
Candidates with experience of cross-border projects or exposure to Middle East work will be of particular interest.
