My client is a leading and growing Capital Markets firm and we are recruiting for a Senior Compliance Officer mandate to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all compliance related matters in the region, and we are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.
Responsibilities for this Senior Compliance Officer - Financial Services role
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations and laws, advise business teams, monitor regulatory changes and implement updates
- AML/CFT & KYC: Oversee AML/CFT and KYC frameworks, review high-risk onboarding and EDD
- Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate reports, act as liaison during inspections, audits, and inquiries
- Surveillance & Monitoring: Oversee trade surveillance and client activity monitoring
Requirements for this Senior Compliance Officer - Financial Services role
- Minimum 7 years in compliance within a regulated financial institution.
- Strong understanding of local regulations, AML/CFT laws, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with monitoring and surveillance systems; experience in regulatory reporting and audits
- Proficiency in English and Chinese.
