Our client, a nationally recognized employment law firm, is seeking a seasoned Employment Litigation Attorney to join their expanding team. This is a full‑time, fully remote opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a sophisticated practice environment, values autonomy, and enjoys working with high‑quality clients.

About the Role

This position offers the chance to handle a diverse and challenging caseload involving complex employment law issues. The successful candidate will play a key role in strategy development, case management, and client communication. You will work closely with a collaborative team of experienced attorneys while maintaining ownership of your matters from intake through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of employment litigation matters in state and federal courts
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
  • Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and negotiations
  • Develop case strategy and provide practical, business‑focused legal advice
  • Communicate with clients regularly and maintain strong, trusted relationships
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure efficient case progress and outstanding service

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of employment litigation experience, ideally with substantial first‑chair or significant second‑chair responsibility
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Exceptional judgment and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a remote environment while managing deadlines and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, responsiveness, and high‑quality legal work
  • Active license to practice law in the state of California

Compensation

In compliance with California pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position is:
$150,000 to $240,000 annually, with eligibility for performance‑based bonuses.

Starting compensation will be based on:

  • Market/geography
  • Overall experience and skillset
  • Education and training
  • Additional relevant qualifications
