Remote Labor and Employment Attorney
Our client is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join their collaborative team advising employers on a broad range of workplace and employment matters. These fully remote positions offer the opportunity to work on sophisticated legal issues in a supportive environment with a steady, manageable workload.
Remote Labor and Employment Attorney Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on employment law matters, including hiring, discipline, termination, accommodations, and workplace policies
- Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and related documents
- Handle administrative charges before agencies such as the EEOC, DOL, and state agencies, including preparing position statements and responses
- Counsel clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support employment-related disputes and provide strategic guidance during pre-litigation matters
- Conduct and advise on internal workplace investigations
- Provide training and practical guidance on employment law developments and best practices
- Monitor legal developments and deliver business-focused legal advice
Remote Labor and Employment Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership
- 5+ years of labor and employment law experience
- Background in employment counseling, compliance, and dispute management
- Experience handling administrative charges and agency matters preferred
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines
- Practical, client-focused approach to legal problem solving
- Fully remote work environment
