General Liability Associate Attorney
Location: Madison, New Jersey (Hybrid)

Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its Madison, NJ office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team representing sophisticated clients on complex litigation matters. Responsibilities
- Independently manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Conduct and defend depositions, and appear in court as needed
- Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues on case strategy and legal projects
- Communicate regularly with clients and provide detailed status reports
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the New Jersey Bar
- 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation (general liability and/or professional liability)
- Experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and report writing preferred
- Trial experience or trial preparation experience is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $125,000 - $175,000, depending on experience and qualifications
