An AM Law 100 firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of complex litigation experience to join its high‑profile team in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco. This group handles sophisticated commercial disputes with an emphasis on strategic advocacy, industry insight, and trial‑ready preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex litigation matters, including legal research, brief‑writing, document production, and discovery.
- Draft motions, manage case strategy, and support trial preparation across commercial litigation matters.
- Collaborate with team members and attorneys across multiple disciplines to meet client objectives.
- Participate in thought leadership, including articles, speaking engagements, and client development activities.
- Work approximately 60% onsite, following firm‑wide hybrid guidelines.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- Admission to the California Bar.
- 3+ years of complex litigation experience.
- Experience with consumer class actions is preferred.
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
- Exceptional writing, oral advocacy, and organizational skills.
- Professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
