Litigation Associate Attorney
An Am Law 200 firm is seeking a talented and driven Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-8 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. This position offers flexibility in office location, with opportunities available across several of the firm's major offices.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of complex litigation matters alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The associate will gain meaningful, hands-on experience and play an active role in case strategy, client interaction, and courtroom advocacy.
Representative Matters Include:
- Labor and employment disputes
- Product liability litigation
- Healthcare-related litigation
- Consumer Finance Litigation
- Breach of contract claims
- Complex commercial disputes
- Additional general litigation matters across industries
Litigation Associate Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Engage in client communications and case strategy development
- Collaborate with partners and cross-office teams on sophisticated matters
Litigation Associate Qualifications:
- 2-8 years of experience in commercial litigation at a law firm or comparable environment
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience managing multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service
- Admission to the bar in the state of the office of employment (or eligibility to waive in)
