Our client, a prominent Am Law 100 global law firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of employment litigation experience to join its high‑performing New York office. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated employment matters within one of the largest, most respected Labor & Employment practices in the country.
Our client is a full‑service international firm with more than 1,200 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. The New York office includes 180+ attorneys practicing across Labor & Employment, Business Litigation, Corporate, Finance, Real Estate, Intellectual Property, Entertainment, and more.
The firm's Labor & Employment group consists of 150+ attorneys nationwide, making it one of the largest and most prestigious L&E practices in the U.S. The team represents employers ranging from Fortune 100 companies to emerging-growth organizations across the full spectrum of employment disputes, compliance issues, workforce counseling, and cross‑border matters.
Responsibilities
- Litigate employment matters, including single‑plaintiff and multi‑plaintiff disputes
- Draft, research, and argue substantive and dispositive motions
- Conduct complex factual investigations and case analyses
- Take and defend depositions of witnesses, managers, and plaintiffs
- Participate in hearings, conferences, and client strategy meetings
- Support trial preparation and large‑scale litigation efforts
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated matters
- Provide employment counseling as needed
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in employment litigation
- Strong litigation skills, including motion drafting and discovery management
- Experience conducting complex fact investigations
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Exceptional writing, research, and analytical capabilities
- Strong academic credentials from a top law school
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑oriented attitude
- New York Bar admission required

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $260,000 to $310,000
