We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong background in labor and employment matters who is comfortable working independently and advising on a broad range of workplace issues. The position offers flexible location options within Texas, including remote work arrangements.

The ideal candidate will bring practical experience handling employment law matters, strong communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders or external clients. This role is intentionally structured to be flexible, making it well-suited for professionals coming from an in-house environment, private practice, or a hybrid background.

Labor and Employment Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Provide counsel on federal and Texas employment law issues, including wage and hour, leave management, workplace policies, and employee relations matters.
  • Draft, review, and revise employment-related documents such as agreements, policies, and compliance materials.
  • Support or manage matters related to workplace investigations, performance management, and discipline.
  • Assist with labor and employment disputes, administrative agency responses, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, leaders, or clients on day‑to‑day employment issues.

Labor and Employment Attorney Qualifications:

  • J.D. and active license to practice law in Texas.
  • Minimum 3+ years of labor and employment law experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Excellent judgment, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with a practical, solution‑oriented approach.
