Data Analytics Specialist
Our client, a leading investment management firm, is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to support one of their end‑clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong Excel capabilities, excellent numerical accuracy, and the ability to build and manage data frameworks from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
Data Extraction & Analysis:
Extract, interpret, and manage investment‑related data using Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Investment Limit Monitoring:
Ensure compliance with investment rules and client‑specific limits (e.g., monitoring ownership thresholds such as "Client A cannot hold more than 15% of Fund A").AUM Contribution Analysis:
Gather and analyze AUM contributions across multiple funds a client has invested in, presenting information clearly and concisely.Spreadsheet Development:
Build customized Excel spreadsheets and analytical tools from scratch to support client reporting and monitoring needs.Capacity Monitoring:
Track investment capacities, monitor utilization, and flag any potential breaches or constraints.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently build new data structures and analytical spreadsheets.
- 3 -6 years prior experience in asset management, analytics, fund operations, or a related financial field is advantageous.
