A well established national defense litigation firm is seeking a Senior Auto Defense Litigation Attorney for its Madison, New Jersey and NYC offices. This hybrid role includes the opportunity to support a Fortune 500 company while working on complex general liability and auto defense matters for high profile national clients within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage litigation matters from early investigation through final resolution
* Collaborate with partners and attorneys across the firm to develop and execute case strategies
* Conduct and defend depositions, participate in mediations, draft motions, appear in court, and assist with trial preparation
* Provide timely and clear updates to clients and internal teams
* Maintain sound judgment and professionalism when working with high profile clients
Qualifications
* JD from an ABA accredited law school
* Admission to practice in New Jersey
Who Should Apply
* Attorneys with 8+ years of defense litigation experience, particularly in General Liability, Personal Injury, Transportation, or Catastrophic Injury
* Strong writers and analytical thinkers with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
* Individuals who can manage complex matters independently while maintaining regular client interaction
* Those who thrive in a fast paced, team oriented environment
* Candidates familiar with legal project management, with first chair trial experience considered a plus
Compensation and Benefits
Final compensation will reflect experience, skills, and business needs. Salary range for this position is $190,000 - $225,000 USD. This full time role includes eligibility for discretionary bonuses and access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan.
