About the Job
My client is a global company seeking a motivated Litigation Associate to join its legal team. This role supports litigation, claims management, regulatory risk matters, and works closely with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to protect the company's legal interests. The position is onsite in Florida, and the company offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates
Key Responsibilities
- Support litigation, claims, and risk management matters, including product liability and regulatory issues
- Assist with discovery, document review, e‑discovery, and case management
- Coordinate with outside counsel on depositions, witness preparation, mediations, and internal investigations
- Advise internal teams on legal risks, claim status, and compliance considerations
- Review marketing and advertising materials for legal and regulatory compliance
- Draft legal memoranda and provide practical legal guidance to leadership
- May provide oversight or guidance to legal support staff
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Experience: 3-6 years of litigation experience in a law firm and/or in‑house legal department
- Experience in medical devices, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated industry preferred
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced corporate environment
