Labor & Employment Attorney (5+ Years) - Los Angeles (Hybrid)
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney (5+ years) to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well‑established practice handling a mix of complex employment litigation and day‑to‑day counseling work for sophisticated clients across industries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in employment litigation and be comfortable handling matters independently while also collaborating within a team‑oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of employment litigation matters, including:
- Single‑plaintiff disputes
- Wage & hour class actions
- PAGA representative actions
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Provide employment counseling on a variety of workplace issues
- Work directly with clients on litigation strategy and risk assessment
- Collaborate with partners and take on increasing ownership of matters
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- 5+ years of employment litigation experience
- Experience with class actions and PAGA matters preferred
- Strong writing, analytical, and client‑facing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: Approximately $225,000 to $290,000, depending on experience and alignment
- Bonus eligibility (productivity and discretionary)
