Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney
An AmLaw 100 ranked national law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate to join its growing team in Madison, New Jersey.
This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated insurance coverage matters alongside experienced practitioners, representing insurers on a wide range of complex coverage disputes and advisory matters. The role offers substantial client interaction, hands-on litigation experience, and exposure to high-level coverage analysis across multiple lines of insurance.
What You'll Work On
- Drafting insurance coverage opinions and coverage position letters
- Analyzing complex coverage issues involving CGL, professional liability, D&O, excess, and property policies
- Handling coverage litigation, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Advising clients on first-party and third-party coverage matters
- Communicating directly with clients and providing strategic reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience
- Admission to both the New Jersey and New York bars
- Strong experience drafting coverage opinions and analyzing complex policy language
- Experience with coverage matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
Compensation
- Base salary up to $190,000
- Discretionary bonus potential
