Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) Attorney to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment and values work-life balance, supported by a reduced billable hour requirement of 1,750 hours/year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend EPLI claims including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour disputes.
  • Represent clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies.
  • Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with a remote team of top-tier litigators and support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, primarily within law firms.
  • Strong defense-side litigation background, with substantial experience in labor and employment law.
  • Insurance defense experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of residence.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
