EEOC Charges Counsel
We are partnered with an AmLaw 100 Firm seeking an attorney with a minimum of six years of employment law experience for an Employment Counsel position. This is a fully remote position and can be performed from anywhere within the United States with a reduced billable hour requirement of 1500 hours. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and must be licensed to practice law in their state of residence.
Responsibilities
Our client's platform leverages data-driven technology and a streamlined workflow to deliver exceptional service. Attorneys on this team benefit from the firm's full resources without the expectations of a shareholder-track role (eligible for shareholder-track if interested).
Attorney's are responsible for managing administrative agency charges and attorney demand letters from investigation through resolution. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting persuasive position statements
- Responding to agency requests for information
- Representing clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations
This is a full-time, remote position with a reduced billable hours requirement. There is no obligation for business-related travel or business development, making it ideal for attorneys seeking meaningful, flexible work.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Experience handling administrative agency charges at both federal and state levels, preferably on the management side
- At least six years of employment law experience, including drafting position statements and representing clients in hearings or mediations
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- An active bar license in their state of residence
