Corporate Counsel
Overview
A global aviation and logistics enterprise is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support a wide range of legal matters across the business. This organization supports cargo, passenger, and aircraft services worldwide, operating across dozens of countries to deliver reliable, high‑quality outsourced aviation solutions. This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad portfolio of commercial agreements, including contracts related to logistics, vendors, charters, leasing, etc.
- Create and maintain contract templates, guidelines, and playbooks to improve efficiency and consistency
- Advise procurement and business teams on contract structure, risk allocation, disputes, and negotiation strategy
- Support a wide range of legal matters relating to joint ventures and acquisitions, cybersecurity and data protection, governance, pre-litigation, and IT-related contracts
- Work cross-functionally with procurement, finance, operations, compliance, and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in‑house legal role
- Experience in the aviation or logistics industries is highly preferred
