Litigation Associate - Southern California (Hybrid/Remote)
A growing Am Law 200 law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2+ years of litigation experience to join its Southern California litigation practice. This opportunity is available in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco and offers a hybrid or remote flexible schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognized platform with significant hands-on litigation responsibility, direct client exposure, and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related filings.
- Conduct and defend depositions and assist with trial preparation.
- Handle motion practice, court appearances, and settlement negotiations.
- Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national platform.
- Utilize e-discovery tools and technology to efficiently manage litigation matters.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active California Bar admission required.
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
- Trial preparation, deposition, and courtroom experience preferred.
- Experience with e-discovery software.
- Strong advocacy, legal writing, research, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities.
