A leading international law firm is seeking a highly motivated associate with 3-6+ years of relevant experience to join its Fund Finance practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated fund financing transactions in the market, alongside leading practitioners in a fast-growing and strategically important practice area.
The Role
Associates in the Fund Finance group are involved in a wide range of complex financing transactions supporting private equity sponsors, asset managers, banks, and alternative lenders. The practice handles both sponsor-side and lender-side representations and is known for advising on novel and market-shaping structures.
Typical matters include:
- Subscription credit facilities and hybrid facilities
- NAV-based financings and asset-level facilities
- Syndicated and bilateral fund finance transactions
- Leverage finance and acquisition financings involving private funds
- Transactions intersecting with fund formation, CLOs, and asset-based lending
Associates can expect meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and exposure to the full lifecycle of transactions, from structuring and drafting through negotiation and closing.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-6+ years of law firm experience in fund finance or closely related practices, including syndicated lending, commercial lending, leverage finance, fund formation, CLOs, asset-based lending, NAV financings, or acquisition financings
- Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Experience working directly with clients and managing transaction components with increasing autonomy
Prior direct fund finance experience is preferred, but candidates with strong transferable finance backgrounds and a demonstrated interest in the space will also be considered.

Compensation
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $300,000 to $400,000, depending on factors including years of relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location. A comprehensive benefits package and competitive bonus opportunities are offered.
