Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled Title and Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in reviewing title commitments and communicating underwriting requirements to counsel buyers, sellers, and lenders on commercial real estate transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Review title commitments and communicate underwriting requirements to counsel buyers, sellers, and lenders on commercial real estate transactions.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients regarding commercial real estate transactions.
- Handle complex legal matters related to title insurance, commercial real estate, and other related issues.
- Work closely with clients, underwriters, title officers, and other professionals to ensure timely and efficient completion of transactions.
- Provide support to other attorneys in the department, as needed.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in [State].
- At least 2 years of experience in reviewing title commitments and communicating underwriting requirements to counsel buyers, sellers, and lenders on commercial real estate transactions.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
