This is a hybrid role open to the following locations: San Francisco, or New York City
A VC backed Fintech company is seeking an experienced Product Counsel reporting into the Divisional General Counsel. This role will provide support across the securities and regulatory space. You will also have the opportunity for regular collaboration across various departments, as well as the ability to gain in-house experience in an exciting and fast paced industry.
The Product Counsel responsibilities include:
- Advising product teams on product structure, regulatory compliance, and privacy matters
- Work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams
- Support in other legal areas as needed
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate has 5+ years legal work with a mix of law firm and in house experience within the financial services and/or fintech industries
- JD from a top law school
