My client is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney with a minimum of three years of practice in labor and employment law to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to represent clients in various employment-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including employee relations, compliance, workplace policies, and labor negotiations.
- Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation regarding employment disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, employee handbooks, and workplace policies.
- Conduct internal investigations and prepare reports on findings and recommendations.
- Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and provide training to clients on compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to develop strategies that mitigate risk and enhance workplace culture.
- Mentor junior attorneys and support staff in legal research, writing, and case management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of three years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Admission to the state bar in [state].
