My client is currently seeking a dynamic mid-level associate to join our esteemed Labor & Employment Department at our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in employment law, with a specific focus on representing employers. At least two of those years should be dedicated to practicing in California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Representing employers in a wide range of employment law matters, encompassing litigation, advice, and counseling.
- Demonstrating proficiency in discrimination, retaliation, and harassment law, as well as handling wrongful discharge actions.
- Possessing a solid understanding of wage and hour law, along with experience in managing class action cases.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of experience practicing employment law, with a significant portion devoted to California law.
- Strong academic background with notable achievements.
- Prior experience in a law firm setting is preferred.
- Excellent writing, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
