We are partnered with a nationally ranked law client looking to bring in a highly-motivated legal professional to join their team in Columbus as an Employment Counsel/Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of employment litigation experience. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in office).
Responsibilities:
- Handle multiple simultaneous cases in a range of employment practice areas.
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, and employment contract disputes.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on employment law matters
- Draft and review legal documents, such as employment agreements, severance agreements, and employee handbooks
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of employment litigation experience
- Demonstrated interest in labor & employment space
- J.D. from an accredited university with excellent academic credentials
- Admitted to practice law in state of Ohio
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
