Employee Benefits Attorney (Partner-Level)
Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 base
Summary: One of the largest global law firms in the US is currently seeking an established and experienced Employee Benefits Partner to join any of their US offices. You will play a key role in handling cases exclusively, helping clients with nuanced legal issues. In addition, you will be able to contribute a team that is consistently recognized in the industry as a leading and innovative law practice.
Employee Benefits Partner Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in designing and implementing employee benefit plans, including retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation arrangements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and state laws governing employee benefits, advising clients on best practices and risk management.
- Represent clients in disputes or litigation related to employee benefit plans, including administrative hearings and court proceedings.
- Mentor junior attorneys and staff, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development within the team.
Employee Benefits Partner Qualifications:
- 8+ minimum years of experience in Labor and Employment, specifically in Employee Benefits.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law.
- Portable book of business is preferred.
