About the Job
A global manufacturing company with locations across the nation is looking to add a Controller to their team! In this position you would be coordinating, consolidating, and analyzing financial plans and projections as well as playing a crucial role in establishing their financial direction. This role will sit in office just north of the Grand Raids area.
Responsibilities:
- Defining the overall strategic direction for the business, involving the establishment and reporting of crucial financial metrics to inform decision-making. This encompasses the development of cost and pricing strategies for diverse products and markets, along with the execution of financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Generating intricate financial analyses for various business opportunities related to products, such as ventures, new plant start-ups or consolidations, and the introduction of new products.
- Identifying financial opportunities and potential risks, while also serving as a Sarbanes Oxley Champion.
- Evaluating the risks associated with analyses and offering recommendations based on the assessment.
- Examining financial and operational outcomes, scrutinizing aspects like costs, budgets, and trends.
- Providing recommendations for enhanced profit opportunities and more efficient asset utilization, and furnishing management with pertinent information for effective planning.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting experience and 3+ years of supervisory experience
- CMA, CPA, or MBA
- Experience in a manufacturing company
