We are looking for an experienced Consumer Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance our internal compliance policies and support regulatory requirements for our banking partners. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial services regulatory laws and a strong ability to lead, train, and communicate across various teams and stakeholders. You will be responsible for collaborating with in-house and external counsel, bank partners, and will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel.
Consumer Compliance Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6-8 compliance professionals.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with current policies and relevant laws.
- Train and advise team members and business units on regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on evolving compliance and regulatory laws at both federal and state levels.
- Report to and collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer and legal team.
- Implement and maintain control systems to track policy deviations.
- Manage internal, external, and bank audits.
Consumer Compliance Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in banking, consumer finance, or financial services as a Compliance Manager.
- Experience in the credit card industry or second look financing is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and proactive attitude.
- Prior experience as a Compliance Manager or in a similar role.
- Knowledgeable about financial services industry trends and regulations.
Certifications:
- CRCM or equivalent compliance certification preferred.
