The Benefits Manager will supervise compliance and administration across company programs, serving as the lead on compensation and benefits. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, they'll utilize data-driven insights to craft cost-effective programs. They'll play a crucial role in shaping programs to attract and retain talent.
The Benefits Manager would be responsible for the following:
- Participate in devising and managing a comprehensive rewards strategy encompassing compensation, health benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and recognition initiatives
- Oversee the yearly compensation cycle, including salary planning, adjustments, internal fairness assessments, and promotions. Offer advice and innovative solutions on various compensation matters
- Evaluate, revamp, and administer health, retirement, and leave benefits, including negotiating with insurers and vendors, managing relationships, overseeing yearly renewals, and leading open enrollment
- Supervise the annual benchmarking process and provide support for all compensation planning procedures
- Ensure effective processes, controls, compliance checks, and audits (such as 401(k), Form 5500, ACA reporting, etc.) are established and executed successfully
The Benefits Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Extensive knowledge of State and Federal wage and hour laws
- Demonstrated success in developing, overseeing, and assessing various aspects of incentive plans
- Proficiency in integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into Total Rewards suggestions
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits roles
- Preferably hold certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Equity Professional (CEP), and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
