My client is a leading US-based Life Sciences firm with presence in APAC, and we are recruiting for a Trade Compliance Coordinator to be based in the Singapore office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the business on a broad range of trade compliance matters matters while working closely with internal stakeholders and the US team.
Responsibilities for this Trade Compliance Coordinator
- Support trade compliance and import / export operational functions
- Responsible for maintaining files relevant to import / export document retention program
- Interface with other internal departments to provide guidance on best practices for import and export
- Support document preparation requirements for both import and export functions, including but not limited to, affidavits and Certificates of Origin
Requirements for this Senior Legal Counsel
- 5+ years of import / export or logistics experience with a preference for trade compliance experience
- Familiar with trade compliance in Asia, agreement and shipping compliance
- Comfortable working with US counterparts
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be proficient in utilisation of Microsoft Suite of products and be able to learn to use ERP, MS Dyanmics / AX
