Senior Regulatory Exam Manager
Our client, one of America's largest banking groups, is looking to hire an experienced Compliance professional at a Senior Manager level to lead specialist Regulatory Exams across the firms Banking & Capital Markets businesses. The firm is one of the world's largest banking groups whose global presence continues to go from strength to strength. Both the Banking & Capital Markets arms are expected to grow over the next 24 months and as such this is the first of three key hires in this high performing Compliance Group.
You will report directly to the Americas Head of Regulatory Engagement.
The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for…
- Managing key regulatory exams across Banking & Capital Markets covering groups such as Operations, Sales & Trading, Shared Services …etc. ensuring that business leaders are fully prepared for regulator meetings
- Develop and cultivate relationships with firm regulators, leading meetings, managing and providing detailed responses to their requests
- Develop and cultivate internal relationships with key business leaders ensuring the effective remediation of regulatory issues
- Identifying improvements to the regulatory program
The Senior Compliance Manager should have the following qualifications…
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant Regulatory Exam management or Internal Audit gained in a large wholesale baking environment
- Experience of dealing with regulators
- Excellent working knowledge of the regulations governing the Banking & Capital Markets Space
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
