A growing, nationally respected law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5+ years of defense-side complex litigation experience to join its New Jersey office. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated litigation matters in a collaborative, supportive environment that values work-life balance and long-term career sustainability.

About the Role

This position is ideal for an experienced litigator who enjoys high-quality work but is looking for a more balanced and team-oriented practice. You will have meaningful responsibility while working alongside colleagues who prioritize collaboration and shared success.
Responsibilities include:
  • Drafting and responding to pleadings
  • Managing written and electronic discovery, including e-discovery strategy
  • Drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Participating in mediations and trials with strong team support
  • Mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to a positive team culture
While prior employment law experience is a plus, the firm welcomes candidates from other defense-side litigation backgrounds with an interest in expanding into this practice area.
