Senior Contract Administrator
I'm currently partnered with a major manufacturer in the Aerospace and Defense industry looking for a Senior Contract Administrator to join their team! They are looking for an individual to lead the negotiation, administration, and oversight of complex government contracts. This role ensures compliance with company policies and federal regulations (FAR/DFARS), supports proposal development, and manages contract performance from award through close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and administer contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements
- Review solicitations, terms, modifications, and amendments
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks; advise program and operations teams
- Prepare and analyze pricing proposals and support TINA compliance
- Draft and manage various agreements (e.g., MOUs, teaming, consultant)
- Ensure timely fulfillment of deliverables, billing, and collections
- Support export license applications and subcontract management
- Participate in program and proposal reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree + 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government procurement processes
- Experience with various contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ)
- Skilled in contract drafting, negotiation, and compliance monitoring
- Familiarity with IP/data rights, cost analysis, and government property administration
- Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills
- NCMA membership and CPCM certification preferred
