My client is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join our high-performing team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cases involving general liability, premises liability, personal injury, tort claims, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a litigation caseload independently from inception through resolution
- Collaborate with attorneys and partners on strategic legal matters
- Conduct depositions and represent clients in court appearances
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in New York
- Minimum 2 years of litigation experience in general liability, personal injury, and insurance defense
- Preferred experience in trucking litigation, construction/labor law, or transportation matters
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Legal project management experience is a plus
