Job Overview

A rapidly-growing real estate and asset management organization is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to support its Asset Management function. This role provides essential legal and administrative assistance across real estate and corporate matters and plays a key part in ensuring efficient operations throughout a diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate is highly organized, exercises sound judgment, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support entity management activities, including maintaining organizational records, charts, and dissolution documentation.
  • Assist with real estate and asset management matters, including lease and loan documentation, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Draft and review tenant communications, notices, and related correspondence.
  • Prepare, file, and track UCC financing statements and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain litigation and dispute tracking materials.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding insurance compliance requirements.
  • Organize, manage, and maintain document management systems to ensure accurate recordkeeping for agreements and transactions.
  • Perform additional legal and administrative tasks in support of the Asset Management team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a corporate and/or real estate paralegal.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with document management systems is a plus
