This top-ranked law firm with a sophisticated commercial real estate practice, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Attorney to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong foundation in real estate and/or finance law who is looking to work on complex transactions with major institutional clients.

The Associate will support a busy real estate practice engaged in a wide range of commercial lending and investment transactions. The group represents institutional lenders, financial institutions, investment entities, and major commercial stakeholders across numerous asset classes. Work includes both financing and transactional matters involving office, multifamily, industrial, healthcare, and specialty-use properties.

Real Estate Finance Attorney Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate mortgages, loan agreements, and common real estate transactional documents.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate real estate finance documentation for acquisition, construction, and permanent loan transactions.
  • Conduct and manage title, survey, and due diligence reviews.
  • Oversee and coordinate real estate closings, including preparation of closing checklists, review of closing deliverables, and execution of closing process.
  • Interface directly with clients, opposing counsel, and third-party stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Real Estate Finance Attorney Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in real estate and/or finance law.
  • Experience in commercial real estate finance, particularly from the perspective of institutional lenders and investors.
  • Familiarity with transactions involving developers, landlords, credit tenants, and real estate investment entities.
  • The ability to manage fastpaced, deadlinedriven transactions and balance multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Strong academic credentials.
