A large health care operation is seeking a Managed Care Counsel to support their leaders in managed care contracting within the healthcare industry. The Managed Care Counsel will be responsible for:
- Creating and implementing strategic plans to ensure potimal financial preformance.
- Develop and negotiate complex contracts with health plans and direct service agreements with physician organizations and hospitals.
- Provide guidance on health plan negotiations, draft, and negotiate complex contracts in the healthcare functional areas.
- Working collaboratively with all appropriate teams to ensure professional delivery of services.
The Managed Care Counsel should have the following qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience with Managed Care contracting.
- Knowledge of managed care contracting language and environment including capitation, PPO, HMO, CPT-4, and HCPCS.
- Willing to travel.
