Senior Insurance Coverage Counsel / Partner-Level Attorney | Chicago, Madison, or Milwaukee
The Opportunity
- Handle sophisticated insurance coverage, risk management, and coverage litigation matters.
- Advise insurers, self-insured entities, and corporate policyholders on complex coverage issues.
- Manage declaratory judgment actions, bad faith litigation, claims management, policy drafting, and subrogation matters.
- Work on high-exposure matters involving environmental, asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, construction defect, professional liability, mass tort, and transportation-related claims.
- Maintain direct client contact and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.
Ideal Background
- 15+ years of insurance coverage experience.
- Experience in private practice, with an insurance carrier, or a combination of both.
- Strong background in coverage analysis, coverage litigation, and client counseling.
- Experience handling complex matters with a high level of autonomy.
- Portable business is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation expected to be in the mid-to-upper $200,000s, with flexibility based on experience and portable business.
