Compensation: $125,000-$175,000 DOE

A boutique civil litigation firm in California is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its General Liability practice in Los Angeles. This hybrid position offers hands-on litigation experience, early responsibility, and a clear path for career growth within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a litigation caseload independently from intake through resolution
- Draft motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
- Conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and argue motions
- Communicate with clients and provide strategic updates
- Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy
- Participate in settlement negotiations and trial preparation
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active California State Bar membership in good standing
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills
- State courtroom experience preferred; trial experience a plus
