Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel - Litigation to manage and provide strategic guidance on the company's litigation matters. This role plays a critical part in minimizing risk, ensuring legal compliance, and protecting the organization's operations and reputation in a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities
Manage all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial matters
Develop litigation strategy in partnership with external counsel, balancing risk and cost
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
Conduct legal research and analyze case law and regulations
Advise internal stakeholders on litigation risks, status, and outcomes
Manage external counsel relationships and budgets
Represent the company in court where authorized
Proactively identify and mitigate litigation risks
Stay current on relevant legal and regulatory developments
Qualifications
JD or LL.M. from an accredited law school
Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or energy storage industries preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mandarin proficiency highly desirable
Ability to work collaboratively with discretion and professionalism
