Leading Sports/Retail - IP Paralegal

This lean legal team is hiring for an IP paralegal to lead and assist on any Intellectual Property and Trademarks matters for the company.
Responsibilities
- Support Company's international trademarks
- Manage trademark docketing system
- Entering new filings, important dates, allowances, registrations, reports, etc.
- Prepare and file US trademark filings with USPTO and WIPO
- Work with foreign colleagues and clients in regards to filings and prosecution
- Assist with any necessary IP enforcements
- Prepare reports for key stakeholders
- Support Legal and IP departments as needed
- Have full autonomy and ownership over your work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA)
- Paralegal certificate highly preferred
- 4+ years of relevant IP/paralegal experience
- Must have experience handling/managing Intellectual Property filings (just IP litigation is not enough)
- Expertise in IP docketing software
- Ability to collaborate confidently and work cross functionally as well as with key stakeholders
- Self-starting drive and go-getter attitude
- Fully on-site position in Carlsbad, CA
