A leading labor and employment law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes employment matters for major national and global clients. The firm is recognized for its deep expertise in employment law, collaborative culture, and commitment to attorney development.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent employers in employment litigation, including wage and hour disputes, PAGA claims, and class actions.
- Advise clients on compliance, investigations, and risk management strategies.
- Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and handbooks.
- Handle administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver practical, business-focused solutions.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the California Bar.
- 3-6 years of experience in labor and employment law, including substantial wage and hour, PAGA, and class action experience.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-service mindset.
