Labor and Employment Attorney
A well‑regarded labor and employment practice is seeking an Labor and Employment Attorney with a minimum of four years of experience to join its team. While the firm prefers this role to be based in Denver, it is open to candidates sitting in other office locations. This position provides the opportunity to work across a broad range of employment and labor matters and collaborate with experienced attorneys nationwide.
Labor and Employment Attorney Responsibilities:
- Handle employment litigation, counseling, and compliance matters
- Support traditional labor work, including collective bargaining, arbitrations, workplace investigations, and NLRB proceedings (if experienced)
- Draft motions, briefs, discovery responses, and research memoranda
- Participate in hearings, mediations, and depositions
- Provide timely, practical guidance to employer‑clients across industries
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's nationally recognized L&E practice
Labor and Employment Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 4+ years of experience in labor & employment or general litigation with demonstrated interest in L&E
- Traditional labor experience strongly preferred
- California bar license is highly valued
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
- Collaborative, team‑oriented approach with strong client‑service skills
