This role offers exposure to a broad range of complex employment matters, including single-plaintiff litigation, wage and hour disputes, discrimination and harassment claims, wrongful termination actions, class actions, and PAGA representative actions. What You'll Do

  • Draft and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Draft, oppose, and argue motions in state and federal court.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and corporate representatives.
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
  • Participate in case strategy development, witness preparation, and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex employment law issues.
  • Work directly with clients and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
  • Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and support staff on litigation matters through all stages of the case lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of employment litigation experience in a law firm setting.
  • Experience handling employment-related matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
  • Class action and PAGA experience is strongly preferred.
  • Deposition, motion practice, and discovery experience.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to independently manage cases while working effectively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Active admission and good standing with the California State Bar required.
