A prestigious global L&E firm is looking to build out their practice groups across a number of offices. This AmLaw100 firm focuses in Labor and Employment defense work, representing an expansive client list of Fortune 500 organizations. They are looking to hire at the Associate level within their Fresno, CA, Newark, NJ, and Houston, TX offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a broad range of general litigation matters, with a focus on labor and employment law.
- Handle all aspects of litigation including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Provide legal counsel and risk management advice to clients on employment related issues.
- Participate in client meetings, mediations, and court appearances as needed.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited school.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of general litigation experience.
- Strong emphasis on Labor and Employment law.
- Must have a license to practice law in one of the following states: California, New Jersey, Texas.
- Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple cases and deadline in a fast-paced environment.
