A highly regarded law firm in Atlanta is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated coverage matters, high-exposure claims, and complex insurance disputes while gaining significant responsibility, client exposure, and hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze and evaluate complex insurance coverage issues across a variety of policy lines.
- Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters.
- Represent insurers in coverage litigation, declaratory judgment actions, and related disputes.
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and manage all phases of discovery.
- Work closely with clients to provide strategic counseling on coverage, risk exposure, and claim resolution.
- Collaborate with experienced partners on litigation strategy, client management, and business development initiatives.
Who We're Looking For:
- 2-8 years of insurance coverage, insurance defense, or complex litigation experience.
- Experience handling commercial general liability, professional liability, excess, D&O, E&O, or other coverage matters is preferred.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensed in Georgia or eligible for admission.
